In sixth grade Raina knocks her two front teeth out. She goes to the dentist and the dentist tries to put her teeth back in place. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work and she ends up looking like “a vampire”. She worries about how she looks and if the other kids at school will make fun of her. She says that she looks like a six year old again. It certainly takes a long time to get her teeth fixed (throughout middle school and part of high school too)! If worrying about her teeth isn’t enough she has to worry about boys and all the other drama that she has to face.
I give this book 5 stars because I found it funny and really entertaining. I recommend this book to people who enjoy reading realistic fiction and graphic novels. I think the author wrote this book to entertain.
Harry’s third year at Hogwarts. His third year of danger. At first it is a normal year at school. Spells and potions. Quidditch and Owls. Then, horrifying news reach the magical school. Sirius Black, an accused wizard for killing 13 people with one curse, had been found guilty, and cooped up in Azkaban for twelve long years has escaped. Along with dementors,Voldemort, and boggarts, Sirius Black is after Harry. The school of magic puts extra magic protection on the forces along the grounds of Hogwarts, but the claimed servant of Voldemort still gets in, planning to kill Harry, after he killed 12 muggles and 1 wizard. A new defense against dark arts professor is there, too, Lupin, and it all comes together when Harry finds out…….
We recommend this book to people who like lots of action and adventure, and also people who have enjoyed the earlier two harry potter books. 🙂 We give this book four stars because it is pretty exciting but it was a bit less suspenseful than the other books.
The showdog, Electra, is predicted to win her fourth 1st place award in a row in the global tournament. That is, until she is making an appearance at the mall, and Luthor goes berserk! He runs up to the stage, ruining it and severely damaging the three-time champion, Electra! After that, he is taken into the pound, and the Drysdales are sued for a huge amount of money! However, Griffin Bing has a plan (as usual). He plans to take Luthor out of the pound and have him win Global! Is it possible? Will Luthor be able to win it all? Find out in this great book!
My favorite character is The-Man-With-The-Plan, Griffin Bing. He is very clever and can easily solve problems. He is adventurous and courageous.
This book is 5 stars! In my opinion, this is the best book in the series.
