Middle School Get Me Out of Here: Book 2

Author: James Patterson

Genre: Realistic Fiction

This book is a really funny book. It is about a boy called Rafe Katchadorian in middle school who is a rule breaker. This book is part of a series. It is the second book. It looks like he survived last year in middle school. Unbelievable!  This is the latest tale of his middle school madness:

  • He gets to move to the BIG CITY
  • He lives in the world’s dinkiest house
  • He gets accepted to an amazing school where all the kids are super smart snobs
  • His first school assignment is to create drawings based on his life experiences
  • He gears up for another mission, EVEN BIGGER than his last one, and this time it’s about getting a life-the MOST INTERESTING life a middle school kid has ever had!

I give this book 4 1/2 stars because it really intrigues the reader. I think that a lot of middle school boys can relate to Rafe Katchadorian.

This Totally Bites

This Totally Bites

By Ruth Ames

Genre:Fiction and Drama

This Totally Bites is about a girl named Emma-Rose who  has a great aunt named Margo.Great Aunt Margo has navy blue eyes, jet black hair, fangs, pale skin, is allergic to garlic and can’t be in the sun. She looks like an adult version of Emma-Rose. Emma-Rose thinks she is vampire herself. Is she???

Additional Information:This Totally Bites is part of the Poison Apple Series. The series has different authors for the books. Some of the books are written by the same author. My favorite character is Emma-Rose because I love to draw like she does  and I have some kind of allergy from the sun and sometimes I like it to be cloudy.

My recommendation: I would recommend this book because it got me curious if Emma-Rose really was a vampire, and was quite fascinated  at the end.

My rating: Five stars
