Have you been bullied once? Because of your looks, clothes, and other things? well read this story, this guy name August. He is an inspiring boy who got bullied by James. He feels left out,and alone. So then,he had a best friend name Summer. They will always hang and have fun,I’m pretty sure you have one too.

This book is about August who got bullied just because of his face.August was all alone,no friends.Till he met Summer,Summer was sitting with August, when they first met.So they became friends, always hanging out, playing together. Also my favorite character is August he is so nice and inspiring.I think the author did a good job,of teaching kids that it doesn’t matter what you wear, and how you look.

I would recommend this book because it tells in this books that teach kids that it doesn’t matter what you look like and dress like.Everybody is different, your perfect the way you are.I give it five stars.

I love your sentiment that everyone is different and perfect as they are. I agree and R.J. Palacio did an amazing job sharing this message. Everyone should “choose kind.”

    Dear MM,

I am so impressed with how you understand the author’s message in Wonder. I worry so much about the Auggies out there in the world, whose unique differences are treated like deficits.

Did you enjoy hearing from different narrators in this book? For example, did you find it helpful to hear Via’s point of view? If so, what are the advantages of hearing from other characters?

    Your fan,
    Mrs. Fraccaro
