The Hunger Games

February 5, 2013 · 7 Comments · Rieth's Readers

Author: Suzanne Collins

Genre(s): Fantasy, Science Fiction

A girl named Katniss lives with her mom and her younger sister, Prim. Prim is now old enough to enter the hunger games, a fight to the death. Will she get picked?

My favorite quotation was  where Katniss volunteered for Prim as tribute to the hunger games. My favorite character is Katniss because of how strong and brave she is. I think the author wrote this book to entertain the readers.

I give this book 5 stars because it has a lot of details and multiple genres like action, and adventure!

I read this book and loved it. I think it is very interesting, and at every end of the chapter it leaves you wondering what will happen next.

I know that part is one of the worst and best bittersweet! I really love this book and the rest! I hope everyone is OK… if you read the trilogy! Read the books to find out if I’m crazy about my words or not!

Definitely multiple genres, including a lot of action (maybe too much). Have you read Catching Fire yet?
