It tells you about many important minerals and rocks and at the bottom of the page it should rate it on how hard it is on Moh’s scale. At the back of the book it should have a fold-able poster that shows talc being a level 1 and a diamond being a 10.
Opinion : I personally like the fold able poster because it gives you a idea on how hard or soft something is.
